BHOPAL: A PRAYER FOR RAIN (2014)

Benjamin Wallfisch brought Owen in to Bhopal:  A Prayer for Rain shortly after completing the score to Hammer of the Gods  and the two couldn’t be more different; this score needed to reflect the setting but avoid cliches. The tragic events of Bhopal required the gentler side of the guitar and mandolin.

Desert Dancer (2014)

The majority of Owen’s work on Desert Dancer was using acoustic guitars in a way that reflected the scene without resorting to stereotypes; using odd tunings and techniques to make the very familiar sound of the guitar slightly less familiar.
