Some of Owen’s earliest professional experience included working on music for national radio stations. He has since written bespoke music for some of the UK’s largest broadcasters. Alongside custom music, Owen’s library music is regularly used by hundreds of radio stations globally.





Owen wrote a series of bespoke tracks for one of the UKs most popular radio stations Classic FM; his music was used by advertising partners such as Honda, Kindle, The Sunday Times, Actimel and Nissan as well as station content including the Alan Titchmarsh Show, Classic FM’s Musical Mystery Tour, the Drive Time Show and Classic Romance.
One such promo attracted a Sony Radio Award nomination (The Power of Dreams with Honda nominated for ‘Best Use Of Branded Content’ in 2012).



Owen spent the better part of three years contributing to BBC Radio 1’s audio logo each week (with the team at Music 4). The “1tros” were power intros designed to segue seamlessly with each track on the stations.  A playlist and proved very popular. Owen also contributed to other station content including co-writing material for the Greg James show.
