Recording Artists

Owen has worked with recording artists from all over the world as a guitarist, string arranger, co-writer and band member. Of particular note was Arun Shenoy’s Rumbadoodle album, which was nominated for a Grammy in 2013  in the ‘Best Pop Instrumental’ category.
Owen is a voting member of The Recording Academy (LA Chapter) and other members can connect with him via GrammyPRO.

Owen has worked on a couple of tracks by Nihil Young (a.k.a Less Hate / 7th Star / The Night).
Owen is particularly proud of the guitar parts used in the Less Hate remix of ‘Deep’ by Robbie Rivera and Bernstein.

Arun gave Owen a lot of freedom to do his own thing on this record. The result was layers of guitars that weave together and compliment the string arrangements of Don Hart and Bansuri flute solos of Ravichandra Kulur.

Owen is credited as a guitarist, string arranger and composer on Arun Shenoy’s Grammy Nominated albumRumbadoodle. The album features a stellar cast of musicians from around the world. The album was nominated for a Grammy in 2013 (Best Pop Instrumental).
Owen had previously worked for Arun in his capacity as a Producer and continues to contribute to his recording projects.
